Banana recipes anyone?
Ingredients:
1 12-ounce container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
2 cups milk
1 5-ounce box instant French vanilla pudding
6-8 bananas, sliced
2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
Directions
Line the bottom of a 13x9x2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top.
In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 1/8 cups sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ripe medium-large bananas, mashed
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup chopped walnuts (in addition to 1/2 cup)
Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9x5x3 loaf pan and dust with flour. Blend the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. Mix the egg, sugar, and vegetable oil until combined. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and blended, add the buttermilk, vanilla, and mashed bananas; mix well. Fold 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts and pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Top the batter with remaining 1/3 cup of walnuts.
Bake for 45-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
