Creamy Parmesan Italian Sausage Soup
I found this recipe on Facebook and it looked very easy to make. I think anything with Italian Sausage is a draw for me. There is very few ingredients, but it makes a delicious soup that is comforting. I think this is something that kids would love because of the simplicity.
1 lb. Italian Sausage, removed from casings
1 small onion diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups chicken Broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup Ditalini pasta
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
In a large pot , cook sausage until browned. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened. Stir in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until tender. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for another 5 minutes and season to taste.
